2008 Spring Dinner a Success

Thanks to all who attended our 2008 Spring Dinner at North Hennepin Community College! We had over 200 attendees this year, representing over 20 campuses across the state of Minnesota. We also enjoyed the company of several area groups like PFund, Twin Cities Pride, Rainbow Health Initiative, Liberty Tree Foundation, Twin Cities Quorum, Target Corporation, and Minnesota Transgender Health Coalition. 2008 Spring Dinner host North Hennepin Community College highlighted their progress over the last year, including their new GLBT Scholarship and the expansion of their Ally Training Program, the latter of which was started by the MN Campus Alliance. Keynote speaker Farheen Hakeem delivered a powerful message, and our guest performer Tori Fixx was a great end to a wonderful evening of networking and inspiration.

Special thanks to our sponsors Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Diversity and Multiculturalism, North Hennepin Community College, and Target Corporation.
