MBLGTACC 2009 Bus Signup

 

Register now to get a seat on a charter bus to the 2009 Midwest Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, and Ally College Conference! The 2009 conference will be held in Bloomington, Indiana.

The Minnesota GLBTA Campus Alliance will provide transportation to this conference for students, staff, faculty, and community members.  Seats are currently estimated at $80.00 per person and scholarships are available to students who need them. Checks should be made payable to MN Campus Alliance (Cash also accepted, ask about other forms of payment.) All passengers will receive details via email, including final costs and trip itinerary, after the deadline.

Deadline to Sign-Up: February 2, 2009

Buses will depart on Thursday, February 11, 2009 from a Twin Cities location and time to be determined. A designated parking lot or ramp will be reserved (hopefully at little or no cost). There will be a layover in Mankato to pick up passengers from the southern regions, then we will depart Mankato approximately 11:00 pm on February  11 and arrive in Bloomington, Indiana on Friday morning (Feb 12). We will return at approximately 2:00am on Monday, February 16, 2009 to Mankato and Twin Cities drop-off points (details subject to change.)

MBLGTACC 2009 Bus Preparation Underway

MBLGTACC 2008 Bus a Success

This inaugural year the MN Campus Alliance secured two charter buses for GLBTA students, staff and faculty to travel to the Midwest Lesbian Bisexual Gay Transgender Campus Conference, held at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Nearly 80 people from across Minnesota met early Friday morning at Metropolitan State University, and travelled together to and from the conference.

Many thanks to those who joined us on the trip to the conference! We hope to do this again next year on the way to MBLGTACC 2009 at the University of Indiana!

Limited Seating Left for MBLGTACC Bus

Due to unexpected demand for seats on the chartered bus to the Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Ally College Conference held this year in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, the MN Campus Alliance has decided to go ahead with ordering a second charter bus to handle all the conference-goers. We were able to get a fair price for the bus, and are offering space for $70.00 per person to you or anyone else from your campus. To reserve a space, please send us the following information:
