MBLGTACC 2009 Bus Preparation Underway
Register now to get a seat on a charter bus to the 2009 Midwest Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, and Ally College Conference! The 2009 conference will be held in Bloomington, Indiana. See the conference website for more details: http://www.indiana.edu/~mblgta09/
The Minnesota GLBTA Campus Alliance provides transportation to this conference each year for students, staff, faculty, and community members. Seats are currently estimated at $70-80 per person and scholarships are available to students who need them.
Deadline to Sign-Up: February 2, 2009
Buses will leave at approximately 11:00 pm on Thursday, February 11, 2009 from a Twin Cities location TBD in order for us to arrive in Bloomington, Indiana on Friday morning. We will return at approximately 2:00am on Monday, February 16, 2009. (Details subject to minor changes.) We are hoping to arrange a pick-up point earlier in the evening (Feb 11) in Mankato. Details will be forthcoming.

Announcing MOCC 2008: Beyond the Vote, Moving Forward Together
The 3rd-Annual Minnesota OUT! Campus Conference (MOCC), the state’s premier GLBTA college conference for students, staff, and faculty, alumni, and community members, is being held at Minnesota State University – Mankato on November 8–9. This year’s MOCC, entitled “Beyond the Vote: Moving Forward Together,” will feature over 30 workshops and keynotes by Miss Major, a witness to the Stonewall Riots, and Joseph DeFilippis, Director of Queers for Economic Justice.
Registration (now available online) is $30 per person, and scholarships are available for those that need them. Registration, workshop submissions, lodging/accommodations, and other information can be found online at www.mncampusalliance.org/mocc.
